We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s Lord Mayor of Bristol Children’s Appeal Carol Concert will be hosted by the brilliant Lisa Cadd, known to many as the Fuss Free Foodie. Lisa is giving her time completely free of charge to support the charity, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
With her warmth, energy, and natural ability to connect with an audience, Lisa is the perfect person to guide us through an evening of festive music, community spirit and fundraising for Bristol children who need it most.
“A huge privilege…” Lisa on hosting the concert
When we asked Lisa what being involved meant to her, she shared this lovely message:
“It’s such a huge privilege to be invited to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Concert this year at the stunning and iconic St George’s venue, one of my favourite venues in Bristol, which always feels so welcoming and offers a different experience every time I visit.
Hosting the Carol Concert for such an important children’s charity is very special, being a mum to two teenage boys. The joy Christmas can bring to children’s hearts and minds is a magical time, but for some families, it is not always an easy time, and to have the backing of a charity like this can make such a huge difference to how a child will feel about Christmas this year, but also for the rest of their lives.
I am beyond happy to be a part of this year’s event and look forward to enjoying the evening as much as everyone who will be there!”
It’s clear that Lisa’s passion for supporting families, combined with her natural warmth, will bring something truly special to this year’s concert.
